We recommend solid white and pastel colors (light blue or aqua green) for beach portraiture. White shirts or tops with sleeves and khaki pants work well. Women and girls can wear white dresses that will flow in the wind and that will cover the knees (works best for posing). Clothes for the entire family should be color coordinated (outfits that are similar, if possible).

Keep hair natural, so that it can flow freely in the wind.

Don’t forget. The sun will not wait. The best times of the day for beach portraits are early in the morning or about an hour before sunset. Punctuality is a necessity.
